How Adobe Photoshop was born

Essential reading for every Photoshop afficinado: “How Adobe Photoshop was Born”, a brief history of the conception and evolution of Adobe Photoshop. Kudos to the Knoll brothers! By the way: did you know that John Knoll (you’ve seen his name a thousands of times when you boot Photoshop …) was also the Visual Effects supervisor of the Star Wars movies?

Need A New FREE MMORPG To Play?
Fortunately i got some YouTube Gameplay videos for u guys to watch.I am sure u guys will find it impressive. These games ar FREE FOR LIFE
REPPELZ:Siege Of Glory http://rappelz.gpotato.com/index.phpNice Graphics and its Free! And yeah, its quiet popular
SilkRoad Online http://www.silkroadonline.net/SilkroadOnline.asp?e_View=1
Another Free MMO
Graphically the game is fairly impressive especially for some free MMORPG.
Pretty detailed textures and environments.
Here's the big part. The system.
SRO's skill system is somewhat atypical. There's none of that 'choose a class and stick to it for life' business. Your skills/weapons and so on can all be freely decided, not bound to any class restrictions or anything, though you'd be wise to model a skillpath and concentrate on it.
There isn't a class system but there's a job system. You choose from being a trader, hunter, or thief. I don't think your job has any bearing to your skills, but they give you certain bonuses in certain areas. The different jobs have different duties/responsibilities though I have yet to learn how exactly that plays into the game.
The magic, form what I gather, is rather subtle though. Most of the game seems to revolve around physical combat with magic only complimenting. Haven't seen too many magic users yet, but it might be because magic usually doesn't kick in until higher levels.
Skill sysstem seems a tad confusing, there are different skill branches though I haven't had a chance to learn many. Everyone seems to be following a certain build.
Weapons are divided into five types: sword, dagger, spear, axe/longblade, bow. Many people like to use bows with magic attacks. Each has their own strengths/weaknesses.
The battle system is typical click, hack, slash, kill, loot. Seems to be another level-grinding based MMORPG.
The game has a lot of typos/spelling errors. Names/locations are spelled in some strange kind of Pinyin, or it might be Korean.
You might be interested in the game if you like to spend those countless hours just levelling away. Oh, and did I mention you can ride horses after a certain level? Looks pretty cool.
They call it the Silk Road but I haven't seen much to do with the Silk Road at all. Nothing about Europe or Islam. All the characters spawn in Changan and are Chinese

TurboLinux Wizpy on sale in June!

The TurboLinux Wizpy, a multimedia media player that contains a PC-bootable version of the
Linux operating system, will go on sale worldwide in June.
TurboLinux Inc. designed the device based on its own distribution of Linux and will target the same market overseas as it has done in Japan: early adopters who are curious about using Linux but either don't want to or can't install the operating system.
The Wizpy allows users to carry a complete Linux desktop in their pocket. When plugged into a PC's USB port the user is given the opportunity to boot-up the Linux system that resides in the Wizpy's memory. User settings, passwords and bookmarks can be stored inside the Wizpy, with the desktop set up to the user's preference so that no matter what PC is used to host the Wizpy, the user gets their familiar desktop.

Hp Pavillion HDX sets new standards for Gaming lappy
Buying a computer is definitely not an impulse purchase, and when it comes to the issue of notebooks, you definitely have a fairly large amount of selections to choose from. HP has bought the Voodoo PC outfit last year, and you can finally see the results of their acquisition which ought to be released sometime later this year in the form of the HP Pavilion HDX gaming and entertainment notebook. You can definitely tell that the Pavilion HDX is a true blue gaming machine from first glance since no sane business-class notebook will come with a 20″ display in the first place.
There is no word on the exact details of the Pavilion HDX’s innards, but chances are it will come with Intel’s Santa Rosa-based line of Core 2 Duo processors that have a maximum speed of 2.4GHz. As with any self-respecting gaming notebook, the Pavilion HDX is tipped to come with NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce Go 8000-series graphics processing unit. Additional entertainment options can be purchased separately, and these include a webcam and an HD DVD drive with HDMI input.
Nintedo Wii Outsells SOny PS3
The Nintendo DS was the overall best-selling system of April with approximately 471,000 units sold — more than twice that of the Sony PSP, which only managed to sell 182,000 units.
Despite being in limited supply, the Nintendo Wii was the best-selling console for the month. More than 360,000 new consumers purchased Nintendo’s home console in April. The second best-selling home system was the Sony PlayStation 2 with 193,000 units sold. Microsoft’s Xbox 360 managed 174,000 units sold and Sony convinced only 82,000 people to purchase a PlayStation 3 for the month, lower than all analyst estimates.
Nintendo was also the #1 software publisher for the month, releasing the top 4 best-selling games — Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl for DS, and Super Paper Mario and Wii Play for Wii. The Pokemon titles sold a combined 1.7 million games in about a week.
According to VG Chartz, the Nintendo Wii has sold 2.5m consoles in Japan, 2.8m in the US and 1.79m in the rest of the world since its official launch late last year.
